INERTIA - SGI Workstation Video to VGA Scan Converter

The INERTIA Graphics Scan Converter allows high resolution video signals to be displayed on data level and VGA-only large screen CRT projectors, light-valve projectors, data monitors, LCD panels and projectors. The Inertia uses digital, real-time scan conversion technology to change high resolution video graphics to a standard VGA or VESA output. Because the Inertia has two output signal types, a front panel switch is provided to allow the Inertia's output to be either 640 x 480 (31.5 kHz) or 800 x 600 (35kHz). When this switch is selected both of the Interia's outputs (RGBS on BNCs and VGA on a 15 pin HD) are active, so two simultaneous displays may be connected.

The Inertia's compatibility includes resolutions such as the SGI 1024 x 768 (48KHz) and 1280 x 1024 (63.9 KHz).
